Update for the Week of October 6th

I will be the first to admit a few mistakes have been made.

Good idea: Running a Magic the Gathering Tournament.
Bad idea: Having more than one price for entry into a tournament.

The concept of forcing people to donate food is a good one, but I should probably have focused on breaking even at the very least. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to do such.

Good idea: Advertising in an unusual way with Magic cards.
Bad idea: Advertising for an event only in an unusual way.

People did not seem to get the message. I would postulate that a more comprehensive advertising mechanism would be more effective.

Good idea: Tabling to advertise the club.
Bad idea: Only having two people table... for the entire day.

I would like to get a few more people out to these shindigs. Anyone who wants to.. please let me know.
