Just finished cleaning out 140 spam messages from the Club. Also, apparently the club e-mail sent out nude pics of some poor sap in Britain? I am impressed with whoever is managing to fake these e-mails.
On the other side of things, I am winding down the changes to the website in order to plan out exactly what we need for the online side of things. Any ideas for the website would be greatly appreciated. In fact, you can send them using the Contact bar on the site itself!
Woot woot!

The death of Geocities
After a freaking long time, the UOGC website is going to be moving. Geocities is closing its proverbial doors, and shutting down its website hosting projects later on this year. What does this mean for the UOGC? Well, the club now has www.uogc.ca, meaning their is an easier URL to remember, and now I am looking into other options for hosting the website (not that it is regularly updated).
I am also looking into ways of rebranding the site to encourage participation in our activities, and remarketing ourselves in a more open nature. Frankly, our retention rate of students is, to say the least, horrible. We shall, however, endeavour on.
